ALDI Appeal Decision

Dear BCA Member

The results of Aldi's appeal against certain conditions imposed by GBC have been published today. All appeals have been allowed by the Planning Inspectorate.

This means that

Trading hours will now be from 0800 to 2200h Monday to Saturday.
Delivery hours have now been extended from 0930 to 2200h Monday to Saturday to 0600 to 2200h.
The number of HGV deliveries per day will rise from one to typically 5 or 6, possibly 7 per day. The Inspector has added a caveat that there should only be one HGV on the site at any one time.
